No, because HP agreements are secured debts, they cannot be included in your IVA. Instead an allowance will be made to enable you to continue to purchase the vehicles whilst your IVA deals with just your unsecured debts.

Q "Does my DLA account to paying off my debt through a current iva?"
Any Disability Living Allowance you receive will form part of your household income and will be allocated towards the costs of providing you with the support and care you need. Your IVA payments will only be made up of your disposable income.

No, it wouldn't be the act of getting married that would affect your IVA payments, however, it would more likely be moving in with your partner would probably cause more pressure on your payments to change.

Q "Hi. I have just been speaking to a company who is helping me set up an IVA, but they say they need £250 up-front to process things. Is this normal?"
No, this is not normal and, moreover, it's unnecessary too. In our opinion this is bad practice and we lead the fight against No Upfront Fees. However, many other IVA companies see this practice as fair game.
